A Storied Past

The original Fitzgerald Advertising launched in New Orleans in 1926, expanding with a large New York City presence with the mission of providing southern businesses with the same marketing, advertising, and public relations services, and expertise then available only in northern cities.

Along the way, Fitzgerald was at the forefront of innovative strategies and pioneered using cross-marketing, celebrity endorsers and product placements for high profile, iconic brands such as Wesson Oil, Coca-Cola and TABASCO.

After eight decades of local, regional and national acclaim, Fitzgerald became BMF - Beuerman Miller Fitzgerald – in the 2002 merger with The Beuerman Miller Group. An agency with its own outstanding reputation for progressive and highly strategic work in the public relations, public affairs and crisis communications sectors, the complementary strengths of the two firms established BMF as a “full-circle” entity, offering the entire spectrum of communications services for clients at every stage and cycle of their businesses.
