Brad Pitt's Make It Right Foundation

After Hurricane Katrina, it became clear that, while our client base was predominantly domiciled around the country and the world - in other words not, for the most part, in New Orleans, we all wanted to play a significant role in bringing New Orleans, our City, back from devastation.

Each of us at BMF has been deeply involved in a variety of important endeavors to that end. We are perhaps most proud of the fact that Beuerman Miller Fitzgerald was selected by Brad Pitt's Make It Right Foundation to create an initial communications plan, a logo and other materials and to serve as Make It Right's media relations team.

" Rebuilding our city while preserving the spirit of the community’s culture."

The Mission of Make It Right was to be a catalyst for redevelopment of New Orleans' Lower 9th Ward, by building a neighborhood comprised of safe and healthy homes inspired by Cradle to Cradle thinking, with an emphasis on a high quality of design, while preserving the spirit of the community's culture.

The organization is led by a highly capable staff that has built the organization from the ground up and worked tirelessly to reach out to former residents who wish to return to New Orleans' lower 9th Ward, to raise the funds needed to help accomplish that dream for 150 families, and to build a committed network of top-notch partners.

It has been our honor to support Make It Right's mission and fundraising efforts by attracting international attention for such a worthy cause, and a cause that has proven itself to be a highly effective example for a City and nation in need of sustainable building techniques, as well as sensitive solutions for earth conscious communities.
